Fort Wayne Connect is a mock public service campaign organization as if made by the City of Fort Wayne to promote walking, walkability, and walkable destinations in the city. With Fort Wayne Connect, we’re helping to forge new connections between people in and around the city. Whether you’re a Fort Wayne native, a regular commuter from nearby, or a new visitor to the big city, there is much to gain from walking beyond the physical health benefits. Our mission is to show people how walking can help strengthen the Fort Wayne community and build up the town into a cultural center bursting with life. To meet this end, our main goal is to encourage people to get active in the city, and encourage you to get excited and involved; all with the simple act of walking!
